Exel Big White Socket Mop blue, to be used for cleaning sensitive areas (surgeries, theatres) or materials (bodily spillages in nursing homes) and as such are to be used once and disposed of to ensure that any possible failures in laundering do not mean re-use of a contaminated mop.
Exel Big White Mop are made from 'baby-wipe' type material - the offcuts from large rolls - which is a synthetic material called spun-lace, is weight for weight twice as absorbent as PY cotton. The other benefit over cotton is that they are to a large extent lint-free compared to cotton mops which shed fibres (especially PY), so assist hygiene by not leaving fibre residues.
